| Peyman Niksar (born in Tehran/Iran July 31, 1980) is an Iranian Music Producer, Composer and Singer. Peyman graduated in 2004, from American University of Hawaii(AUH), majoring Music Composition. In parallel with his academic studies in Classic Music and learning Music Composition and Orchestration with "Dr.Kambiz Roshanravan", he started to learn principles of Rock and Blues Music and learning Electric Guitar and Music Arrangement with "Kaveh Yaghmaei". In year 2000, he joined a band named "Mehrabanan" that was employing a combination of Iranian traditional and western instruments as a Guitar player . It was Peyman's first presence on stage. Later in 2001, he formed a band named "Peyman". He was the leader, singer and guitar player in that band. In the same year, he gave a pop-rock concert and for the first time he appeared on the stage as a solo singer. Peyman started to record his first album in 2002 in cooperation with Kaveh Yaghmaei. In that album he wrote 3 songs, and the rest was all written, composed and arranged by Kaveh Yaghmayi, the result was a Pop-Rock album named "Shere Nafasgir" which was released in 2003. At the end of 2002, Peyman appeared in a concert in Tehran as Kaveh's special guest singer. He performed some songs of his first album. After that he has done further studies and several researches on Trip Hop , Chill out and Electronic Music styles and eventually he managed to combine them with modern Rock Music, therefore he established his new own style of music. Also he has cooperated with some Film Directors in Short Films and Video Arts as a Music Composer. |
